We Celebrate Our Seniors In Spite of Challenges.

The Park City High School Class of 2022 graduated last week!

It has persevered through a global pandemic, political and societal upheaval, war, and extreme weather – including a wildfire that postponed the start of this school year – to name just a few things.

Our graduating seniors inherit a tumultuous world. They’ll hone skills and talents in colleges and universities across the country: from Dartmouth to University of Utah and MIT to the University of Hawaii. These young adults also join the workforce - with skills and credentials they’ve earned in Park City High School’s robust Career and Technical Education programs.

"Wellness has been a large part of PCEF's funding since 2016 - usually distributed through Classroom Grants. The pandemic and tragic events have sharply focused the need to support educators and students beyond pure academics."

-- Kara Cody, PCEF's Director of Programs
PCEF's new key initiatives, Educator and Student Wellness and Real World Learning, place intentional focus on these critical areas.

They will bring additional PCEF support and resources to classrooms and schools in an effort to ensure all Park City students reach their academic and lifelong potential.

"There was a 161% increase in Classroom Grant applications - the biggest jump we’ve ever seen. The need was so great that the Board knew it had to approve more funding.

It’s just an astounding increase and will positively impact so many Park City students.”

-- Kara Cody, PCEF's Director of Programs
2022/2023 Classroom Grants at a Glance:
  • PCEF’s Board increased Classroom Grant funding to $460,000 in 2022!
  • 45 Grants were awarded.
  • Without PCEF donor support, programs like Debate, Robotics, Latinos in Action, the Elementary PACE program, and more would not be robust, award-winning programs - or even exist at all.
