Remember that sense of excitement when you took your parents to school, roamed the halls and toured school corridors and classrooms together? Whether it was Back to School nights, Parent-Teacher Conferences, extracurricular activities, or sporting events…presenting something you made at school was a proud moment.

Recently, we caught up with Elementary Visual Arts (EVA) Educator, Melissa Allen, from Parley's Park Elementary School to hear her perspective about the impact art has beyond the classroom walls, and the pride students have in their own creations.

EVA 2023-2024 Curriculum ❤️

Each month of the 2023-2024 school year, the Elementary Visual Arts (EVA) Curriculum will focus on a featured artist, teaching the artist's work, and nurturing students’ own inspired artwork.

EVA, a collaboration with the Kimball Art Center, is one of 8 Signature Initiatives supported and funded by PCEF.

Volunteers Needed!

The Red Apple Gala, generously hosted by Montage Deer Valley and presented by Zions Bank, is Park City's favorite fall party, with an amazing cause to celebrate: our students, educators, and schools!

We are sold out but there are still lots of ways to take part in the Gala. We have several volunteer positions with many times that can fit your schedule. We can't host a stellar Red Apple Gala without you!

Potential volunteers will need to complete the PSCD Volunteer Process, and email the EVA Educator at their respective school: McPolin Elementary School: Lucia Ferrazzoli, Parley's Park Elementary School: Melissa Allen, and Trailside Elementary School: Giuliana Mendiola.
