HOW DOES THE CO PAY NETWORK HEALTHCARE PLAN WORK?
We previously announced in an earlier edition of Volume 1 of this newsletter (we’ve renamed the Newsletter To Free Market Healthcare Solutions as of July 1) and have updated to Volume 2 in recognition of the new M Powering Benefits Association plans that became effective yesterday.

The Co-Pay Network Healthcare Plan is one of the five new plans that offer Medical Cost Sharing and include all five of the healthy care strategies (AVOID, PREVENT, MANAGE, MITIGATE, and CONTAIN).

The Plan is designed for health-focused individuals who want protection that's more like a traditional office visit co-pay plan design. All ACA-mandated preventive care services are provided at no cost through a PHCS network provider. The option also includes a co-pay plan (see details in the attached product sheet) for primary and specialist office visits, urgent care, diagnostic x-rays and labs, and MRI/CT scans using PHCS network providers. The WellDyne Rx program is provided as part of the Plan. Membership in Sedera Medical Cost Sharing (the CONTAIN feature of the healthy care strategy) is also included.

Please click on the following to find out more about the Plan Features and Specifications. Call us at 877-734-3884 if you’d like a quote on what your monthly share contributions for this plan would be. You can enroll for this plan at any time, and if you enroll by the 20th of the month membership will become effective the first of the following month.
WHERE CAN I FIND PRACTITIONERS?
MedlinePlus (a service of the US National Library of Medicine, which is part of the National Institutes of Health) provides links to directories to help you find lists of libraries, health professionals, services and facilities. The Library does not endorse or recommend the organizations that produce these directories, nor the individuals or organizations that are included in the directories. Nevertheless, you may find these listings to be of great value to you in finding providers of the various services listed. If you’re a member of Health Excellence Plus (or Health Excellence Select) and you need help finding health services, you should find these lists very helpful.

My Academy of Health Excellence Member and Concierge Services is available to help Health Excellence Plus and Health Excellence Select members find low cost, high quality providers. These services are provided with your membership in these programs

Along with a list of local libraries, which is one source of finding local practitioners, the following lists are contained in the directories:

•   Doctors and Dentists—General
•   Hospitals and Clinics—General
•   Doctors and Dentists--Specialists
•   Other Healthcare Professionals
•   Hospitals and Clinics—Specialized
•   Other Healthcare Facilities and Services
HOW CAN I FIND THE LOWEST COST PLANS THAT COMPLY WITH THE AFFORDABLE CARE ACT?
In addition to the five different plans that include Medical Cost Sharing that have been introduced through the M Powering Benefits Association, the Association is also offering three “self-funded” plans to those who want to keep their monthly contributions as low as possible and are willing to manage costs for large medical expenses entirely on their own. All these “self-funded” plans offer all the preventive care services required under the Affordable Care Act and do NOT have any tax penalties in 2018 for not having an ACA-qualified plan for periods when the plan is in force.

Enrollment can occur at any time: if you enroll on or prior to the 20th of a month, the plan is effective as of the first of the following month.

By joining the M Powering Benefits Association ($25 set-up fee), members can choose any one of these three plans [they can also choose one of the five plans that INCLUDE Medical Cost Sharing for a total membership and set-up fee of $125).

In addition to receiving all of the benefits provided by the Academy of Health Excellence (the AVOID portion of the healthy care strategy), as well as the preventive services (the PREVENT portion of the strategy), members receive other benefits which vary between each plan. You can download a product sheet that includes the Plan Features, Plan Specifications, and Monthly Costs of each of the three plans, below:
