The speaker for our upcoming Thursday, October 27th meeting will be Mary Beth Canty who is a candidate for Illinois State Representative in District 54.She is a very strong supporter of gun violence prevention, and we are looking forward to hearing speak. The recently redrawn 54th District of Illinois now includes parts of Palatine, Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, and Mount Prospect.
