Enjoy the Halloween season in the Kenosha Area!

As you participate in all of the fun events, take photos! Submit your favorite ones to our annual Picture Your Kenosha Photo Contest. At the conclusion of each year, we select three winners who are awarded bragging rights and a dining experience for two at a local restaurant.

VISIT THE PUMPKIN FARM

Jerry Smith Farm is a must see stop during October! It’s free to view the artistic hand-painted pumpkin displays. There are also pumpkins to purchase, a giant bounce pad to jump on, hayrides, a petting zoo, a corn maze, a haunted attraction, and much more! There are delicious frosted fresh-baked cookies, caramel apples, and hot cider to enjoy - as well as adult and coffee beverages.

FALL INTO FUN

The Fall Into Fun Festival happens on October 14 at Veterans Memorial Park. Among the many activities are a Pumpkin Decorating Contest (register by October 9) and a Costume Contest (register at event) – both are for all ages. You can also stroll through Downtown Kenosha to check out the decorated storefront window displays and vote for your favorite! More Fall & Halloween Events>

GET GHOSTED

Book a Ghost Tour with Lakeshore Pedal Tours to learn what ghosts and spirits may reside in Downtown Kenosha. The Kemper Haunted House is open every Saturday evening in October. Zipline in your costume as spooky music plays at Boundless Adventures; Hallow Glow events happen each Saturday evening this month. Events at our museums include: Dinos in the Dark, Ghost Hunting, and Victorian Spiritualism.

SEASON FINALES

October 15 is the last day for Kenosha Art Market and Wilmot Flea Market. October 21-22 is the final weekend of Durkee Mansion tours until Christmas at Kemper begins. October 26-29 is the closing weekend for the Southport Light Station Museum (climb a lighthouse!). October 28 is the last day outdoors for Kenosha HarborMarket and Kenosha Public Market; both move indoors in November.
