Meet the Wiglesworth Family

"Place of Hope is our family. They are what created our family. They trained us, they were our support system when we were in our fostering journey. Place of Hope means everything to our family.

Our family grew from four to six. When our girls were about 10 years old, we felt called to foster. Our first placement came in, and never left. After 996 days, he became our forever son. Nine months into fostering him, we found out he was going to have a biological baby brother. At just three days old, his brother came into our home through the foster care system. After 661 days, he also took our last name forever.

Our home and our hearts are full, but there is so much need right here in our community, there is still so much that needs to be done. We asked ourselves, in what way can we still support the community like we were supported when we were fostering or when we were young parents and blessed to have a support system?

After talking with the team at Place of Hope, they shared the exciting expansion plans for their new Stuart Campus. We decided to come alongside them and help them launch this life-changing and state-of-the-art facility for not only foster children, but also aged-out foster youth, homeless youth, single mothers with children and human trafficking survivors. Our business is in Martin County and many of our staff live in Martin County, why wouldn't we support this amazing organization right here in our back yard? Place of Hope is giving a hand up, caring for, providing hope and healing opportunities for over 8,000 children, youth and families each year who have endured child abuse and neglect, homelessness, poverty, exploitation and human trafficking.

So our ask, is simple: join us in supporting this local nonprofit by giving a donation to our "Wiglesworth Campaign" and help us raise the critical funds needed to build out much needed affordable transitional housing and support services for so many in our community who desperately need a hand up."

PROM NIGHT!

Some of our youth had an amazing time at prom! For many in foster care, prom is not something they can attend. At Place of Hope, we prioritize these moments as a way to build self-confidence and self-worth. When you invest in Place of Hope, you are helping to create these lasting memories for a lifetime.
