ROANOKE CONNECT ROLLOUT
In this dedicated space, the co-op will provide an update on the progress of the Roanoke Connect broadband initiative, bringing high-speed internet service to homes and business throughout the region. The buildout will cover more than 2,000 square miles and is anticipated to take five to six years complete.

WHERE WE ARE
  • Crews are currently wrapping up laying the groundwork in the Conway Great Grant area of Northampton County. Installations have begun and will continue until all subscribers are connected to internet service. This is a major phase in the rollout, with more than 200 member-owners eligible to subscribe to internet service in that area.

WHERE TO NEXT?
  • Next stop for planned installations will be in the Murfreesboro/Como area of Hertford County. Scheduling for installs in that area are set to begin in April 2021.

  • We appreciate everyone’s patience and would like to remind our interested residents that these dates are subject to change in the event of inclement weather.
