She is also joined on Tuesday by several other Federal Reserve leaders, including Fed Chair Jerome Powell, who will offer remarks at lunchtime. Wednesday brings us more Fed leaders offering remarks, followed on Thursday with hard data on September U.S. retail sales, the producer price index for September, the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey, and August inventory data. We wrap up on Friday with housing starts and building permits from September, the import price index for September, and industrial production figures for September, too.
Earnings calls kickoff tomorrow with a call from JPMorganChase, Domino’s Pizza, BlackRock, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Johnson & Johnson, and Wells Fargo. Abbott Labs, Bank of America, Citizens Financial Group, Morgan Stanley, PNC, Progressive, J.B. Hunt Transport, Synovus, and United Airlines are among the companies with calls on Wednesday. BNY Mellon, Charles Schwab, M&T Bank, Marsh McLennan, Snap-On, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., CSX, Travelers, and U.S. Bancorp are part of the Thursday lineup. Ally Financial, American Express, Regions Financial, Truist Financial, and others are part of the Friday lineup.
