Helpful Real Estate Tips

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us and glad to hear people are staying safe.
We have received a couple of questions in regards to Virtual Open House and so we are kicking off our first issue of how to "Market In The Era of COVID-19" newsletter with step by step instructions on how to add a Virtual Open House to your listing.
Virtual Open House
Virtual open houses have become popular options for buyers in place of the traditional open house because you can reach more buyers while providing video and commentary as you visually show off your listing. With MetroList relaxing the MLS Rules during the COVID-19 health emergency and stay at home order issued by the Governor, you can continue to market your listings through a variety of social media Platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and others) using Virtual Open House.

There are so many different ways to create a Virtual Open House virtual video, all at no additional cost. One way to create a virtual video is to collect photos of the house you have taken and drop them into a movie maker program (there are several free and open software programs available) and add a voice over commentary talking about all the highlights of the home, just as you would if a potential buyer was standing right with you. Produce the film and simply uploaded the video to one or more social platforms and copy the URLs ( Expert Tip - YouTube is a great platform because there is no charge and it can been seen by anyone without having to log into an account).
