#GivingTuesday Just Around The Corner

Join AgeWell Services on Tuesday, November 27 to celebrate #GivingTuesday by donating online to help feed a senior in Muskegon, Oceana or Ottawa Counties.
Our goal this year is to provide 250 additional meals from Giving Tueday donations. No donation is too small. A donation of just $6 will provide a hot nutritious meal and a safety check to a homebound senior.

The holiday season is here and with that comes fancy dinners, work parties, potlucks and family gatherings. While breaking bread with your favorite people can be one of life's simple joys, anxiety over what to make when feeding those with special dietary needs can make things feel complicated. Here are nine tips and tricks for hosting a holiday dinner that everyone can enjoy.

Senior Swim Days

Nov. 27 - Dec. 20, 2-3pm
Join us for a variety of water classes in the shallow end of the pool. You must register for each day you would like to attend. Limited to 25 participants per day.

Pickleball
Orchard View Community Education 1765 Ada Ave., Muskegon
Thursday's from 4:30-5:30pm
Join us for some pickleball games. This is a great opportunity to not only get physical exercise but to make new friends.

Enhanced Fitness

Join us for this moderate level fitness class where Strength Training, Flexibility, Aerobic Exercise and Balance is combined into one class.

Friday's from 1-2pm
This class allows you to learn a combination of health tips (arthritis and other), relaxations techniques and a a majority of stretching exercises.

Senior Dance Day

November 30, 1-3pm
Come get your dancing on! This will be an opportunity to show off your favorite dance moves, get a little exercise and meet new friends. Refreshments will be provided.

Lunch & Learns
The goal of the Lunch & Learns is to enhance the skills, knowledge, thinking, and learning abilities of participants based on the AgeWell Services Dimensions of Wellness—SPINS (Social, Physical, Intellectual, Nutritional and Spiritual). They are provided in a relaxing, informal environment where participants have the opportunity to learn about something new and interesting. New topics every month!
Lunch & Learns are from 12-1:30pm with a lunch provided on a donation basis.

Discount Dining Program
The Discount Dining program provides a nutritious meal for only $4.00 to seniors 60 years and older. This meal program is different than other meal programs because you select the meal from the restaurant menu, instead of the AgeWell Services Kitchen.
