How To Distribute Video Brochures To Increase Effectiveness
If you’ve been following our newsletter series this year, you know that we’ve walked you through video brochure applications, how to create great videos and graphic design.
 
At this point, let’s discuss distribution in simple terms — getting these into the hands of your clients and/or prospects. There are multiple ways to do this. In this newsletter we will focus on mailing them.

By now you have identified individuals of significance who are difficult to meet with in person. Creating a spreadsheet with their contact information will allow us to verify the addresses, print labels, attach them to the units, and then send them off into the postal system. When shipping from Salt Lake City, Utah, packages in the USPS system will deliver to 140,000,000 people within 2-3 days.
 
Soon you’ll start receiving responses... and we highly recommend you have a protocol in place to make sure your staff can handle it. Seriously, these have been known to produce as high as a 66% increase in response rates when compared to other marketing tactics, and a 70% increase in closed business after they’ve been distributed.
 
We recommend your protocol includes follow-up within 24 to 48 hours with anyone who doesn’t respond because tons of good can come out of it. For instance, you’ll want to make sure each prospect received your Video Mailer because if they didn’t, you’ll want to track it down. These packages have been known to circulate an office space/building as they are shared before they actually make it to the recipient. At the same time, if they did receive it and are planning to respond but just haven’t taken the time to yet, you don’t want that hot lead to turn cold. That’s how effective these video activated products are!
 
Nevertheless, no matter what you find out when you follow up, you’ll be able to update your records. And who knows, more sales might happen right away, future deals may become possible, or you could save yourself money down the road by not marketing to the wrong person.
