Many of us have been sheltering in place now for over 6 weeks and I’m sure some of us are coping better than others. If you’ve got kids who you’re now homeschooling, or you’re worried about elderly parents or your worried about being furloughed…. the common theme here is stress!
I certainly don’t have all the answers and you each have to find the right balance that works for you and your specific situation. What I have found that is working for me ( after a couple of weeks of being a couch potato) is to get up at a set time each day, take a walk outside, have coffee and read the paper (resume my pre-Covid19 morning routine, in other words) and go into my office to take care of business. Having a schedule and some structure to my day has been very helpful.
