Autism Connection of Pennsylvania is hosting a Sensory Friendly Santa on Saturday, December 9th at the Achieva office:

Free parking is available all around the building. Registration is mandatory, and is limited to five families per one half (1/2) hour. Please choose an arrival time and bring a camera! If you're extra festive, we encourage you to wear costumes. We'll have some fun photo props, too!

Sensory Friendly Science Hours flyer


Sensory Sensitive Science Hours at the Carnegie Science Center are held on select Sunday mornings. Exhibit lights and sound effects are adjusted and special hands-on activities are added to foster a safe, welcoming, and most of all, fun, environment for all visitors.

UNIVERSITY OF PITTSBURGH CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR AUTISM RESEARCH


EDI-fNIRS- functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

 

The Center of Excellence for Autism Research at the University of Pittsburgh is conducting a research study to measure emotion regulation. We are enrolling parents or guardians and children ages 4-8 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

 

Parents will complete a small battery of assessments and children will take part in computer games where they wear a cap on their head to measure brain activity. The appointment takes approximately 2-3 hours. We offer payment for participating.
