Are you having difficulty with your seam getting narrow once you let go of the fabric?
When sewing with something like Sewing Edge, after you are passed the Sewing Edge, the machine should continue to take the fabric in straight and that last inch or so should not be an issue, just guide the fabric in straight and let the machine do the work.
If however, when you let go, the fabric pulls to the left and the seam gets narrow, I would recommend moving the needle over to the right, using a regular foot, and use the Corner Cut to determine where the Sewing Edge should be placed for that perfect scant 1/4″.
What causes the issue of a narrowing seam is most often the center position does not afford the right-most feed dog to help pull the fabric into the machine. So when you let go, the left feeddog takes over, pulling the fabric to the left.
