Total RF Serum is getting lots of attention in the beauty press and for good reason. Its focus on reenergizing your skin at the cellular level is unique and patent-pending. It's effective for all ages, ethnicities, and skin tones. It's easy to use either as a stand-alone serum or as an add-on to your daily routine. And it's a PLEASURE to use, with it's luxurious texture, smell, and skin-feel after use. You'll love using it!
Let's take a deeper dive into some of the FAQs on the TRFS.
Cheers to healthy + happy skin,
Nancy
First, the basics: what's a serum?
Serums target specific skincare concerns with high concentrations of key ingredients that aren't found in other products like moisturizers or treatment creams. You apply serum after cleansing and toning, and before moisturizing.
Why are face serums important for anti-aging?
Environmental factors and the natural aging process lead to a loss of cellular energy. As skin cell turnover and collagen production slow down, lines, wrinkles, dullness and dryness show up. Adding a serum to your routine boosts your skincare arsenal to help your body fight back against the visible signs of aging.
What R+F serum should I use?
Choose your serum based on your primary skincare concern:

Active Hydration Serum for dry skin.

Intensive Renewing Serum for lines, deep wrinkles, loss of firmness and tone.

Total RF Serum for fine lines, loss of elasticity, firmness and tone, skin texture and dullness, plumpness, to reduce pores, increase radiance and overall revitalization.

Can I use more than one serum?
Yes! Layering serums allows you to benefit from all of their potent ingredients. Within the R+F family, apply the serums in alphabetical order:
  1. Active Hydration Serum
  2. Intensive Renewing Serum (nighttime only)
  3. Total RF Serum
With a little experimenting you'll find the routine that works for you. I like to use Active Hydration Serum and Total RF Serum every morning and night. I add in the Intensive Renewing Serum with the AMP MD roller just one or two nights a week. Send me a note and we'll talk through what might work for you.
How does Total RF Serum fit into each R+F Regimen?
Total RF Serum can be used with all of R+F's core regimens after cleansing, toning or treating, and before moisturizing.

Redefine: after Step 2 toner

Reverse: after Step 2 toner

Soothe: after Step 2 treatment

Unblemish: after Step 3 treatment

Recharge: after Step 1 cleansing
Can I use Total RF Serum by itself?
Yes! Although Total RF Serum was formulated to enhance R+F Regimens, the company's clinical studies show anti-aging benefits even if using Total RF Serum alone. Remember to use it within a framework of the 4 skincare basics: cleanse, tone, treat and protect. And always apply it immediately before moisturizer.
In the News!
Product reviewers from NewBeauty.com and Popsugar.com give Total RF Serum a thumbs up, noting its comprehensive benefits and ease of use. Vogue Australia checks in with the R+F doctors and researchers to discuss how the company's dermatology roots led to the development of Total RF Serum. Favorite quote: "Rodan and Fields are doing their best to make magic from science."

"When I first gave this product a spin, I immediately noticed my skin looked plump and smooth underneath my makeup. As time has passed, my complexion has looked more dewy and bright every day, and I can tell my face feels both tighter and bouncier. It's safe to say that this has become a staple in my everyday skincare routine."

"The consistency of the formula is creamy as opposed to watery like most serums and has a light blush hue to it. There's a very faint, clean scent, but nothing too noticeable, and it quickly absorbs to a lightweight, soft, hydrating finish."

I have a limited number of Total RF Serum samples.
