The healing power of kindness is present in every gift.
It is our privilege to pass it on.
Hello,

As our region is being impacted by a surge of COVID-19 cases, our clinical staff continues to provide excellent care, compassion and dedication to our patients. Thank you for standing with us during these unprecedented times.

In this edition of our eNews, we feature how appreciation meals are creating a special partnership and ways you can honor nurses during National Nurses week. Your support makes a difference for our programs, employees, and patients and families.

Thank you!

KVCC Supports Frontline Employees with Appreciation Meals
We extend our thanks to Kalamazoo Valley Community College for providing appreciation meals to our frontline employees at Bronson Methodist Hospital this semester. Nursing Instructor, Patrick Joswick, shared that, "KVCC and Bronson have an outstanding partnership and are both committed to serving the community. The donated meals are just another way to say thank you to the frontline healthcare workers on behalf of Kalamazoo Valley."

During this pandemic, our employees continue to be grateful to our community for their outpouring of support by way of well wishes, appreciation meals and snacks, massage chairs, and other special gifts! Click the link below to learn more about how you can support.
Leading the Way Toward a Bright Future of Cancer Care
This year, Bronson celebrated the opening of the new Cancer Center in Kalamazoo which was built in part by generous donors to our Cancer Care Campaign. The facility is now fully operational and includes essential services that cancer patients and their support systems need to thrive. Bronson's regional cancer program now includes activity and appearance spaces, rooms for programming, and critical technologies that build coordinated treatment experiences for each patient. We invite you to come take a look inside by checking out this video!
As we welcome patients into our new facility, the Cancer Care Campaign continues to encourage community support for cancer patients in need, research funding to build an equitable future of our cancer program, and renovation of our Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic at Bronson Children's Hospital. A gift of any size will make a huge difference in the lives of cancer patients throughout southwest Michigan.
Celebrating Nurses Week 2021
There is no doubt that our Bronson nurses have been heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic and we need your help in honoring them. We will celebrate National Nurses Week during the week of May 5 - 12. Nurses continue to lead families through periods of uncertainty and make a difference in the lives of our friends and neighbors.

We encourage you to honor a nurse in your life by sharing your story or making a gift in their honor. Your messages during this special week show our nurses how much they are appreciated.
Sexual Assault Services Celebrates 25 Years
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Bronson Sexual Assault Services (SAS) is honoring 25 years of service to individuals and families in Calhoun, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties. This year, for safety reasons, we will not be hosting our recognition annual dinner. SAS will host a separate virtual recognition to recognize their volunteers and awardees.

All assistance and services offered by SAS are free of charge. This is made possible through the support of grants, financial donations, community partners and volunteers. A gift to the Sexual Assault Services Fund is an impactful way to honor this anniversary and support those in need of these services.
