Maria is an undocumented single mother of two children under the age of five. She worked in the hospitality industry and was laid off, leaving her understandably fearful. Through calling the
Aldea Family Wellness Support Line ,
we were able to provide Maria with brief mental health support, grocery store gift cards to help with meals and toiletries.
We have received many calls with unique situations like that of Maria's in these first few weeks of Aldea's Family Wellness Line.
The calls will keep coming.
