Working in social media, you get to see both the best and worst parts of the internet. Social media certainly has its problems, but last week it showed its power and its good side. Thanks in part to a Reddit user, police were able to identify the man they say was the Brown University shooter. Who would have thought that, amid a vast sea of threads, likes, and comments, the evidence needed to catch a suspected killer would be found?
Now, on to a new week, without a manhunt (knock on wood.)
