Pregnancy Counseling Services (PCS) announces its FIRST "Walk for Life" to help support our services in the Placerville community on MAY 14!
Most importantly, this is our BIG FUNDRAISER with a BIG GOAL: To raise $50,000 to continue offering services that give hope, compassion, and help to women and men seeking answers to the pregnancy related issues within the Placerville community.
We encourage every walker to get friends, family, and co-workers to join the team and become sponsored walkers as well! With just $75 in sponsorship, you earn a PCS T-shirt!
PCS has been offering services to the community for over 35 years. With our newly licensed medical clinic we are now able to offer early pregnancy diagnostic ultrasound imaging.
You CAN make the difference for life by helping raise funds to support these life sustaining services.
Kindness is Contagious
Because healthcare workers are highly likely to experience hostility and violence from patients and visitors, Marshall, along with many hospitals and health systems across the country, is posting signage reminding everyone to be kind.
“Kindness is Contagious” is a campaign to reinforce respect and awareness of positive behaviors.
But we didn’t want to stop there. All across the county, front line service workers have experienced an escalation of abusive behavior, especially since the COVID pandemic. People are frustrated and short-tempered, and it shows. Knowing this, we decided to share our KIC materials with local businesses and schools.
