Greetings!

Recovery Month explores how integrated care, a strong community, sense of purpose, and leadership contribute to effective treatments that sustain the recovery of persons with mental and substance use disorders. By asserting that “Recovery is for Everyone,” we reduce the stigma surrounding people with substance use or mental health disorders.

On September 29th at 7 pm, join MACS, MedChi, and Maryland healthcare providers and agencies on twitter for a conversation about ways to support individuals in recovery.

Recovery Month Twitter Chat | #MDProviders4Recovery

Hosted by: @Maryland_MACS

Who should participate? Maryland healthcare providers, including peer recovery professionals, and agencies that serve providers.

Why you should join the conversation

  • To share resources, information, and de-identified examples and stories about recovery
  • Learn new ways to meet individuals where they are in their recovery journey
  • Foster connections with other health professionals and agencies
  • Increase engagement and awareness about your own program or services

We would love for you to join us for this important discussion. Your engagement will help amplify the role of Maryland healthcare providers in supporting individuals in recovery.
