Artists Thrive 2023 Summit Workshop Recommendations

Daily Meditation & Contemplative Practice Offerings: Breathing breaks, reflection journaling, monthly morning practice, midweek mantras, mindful drawing, and meditation. This is a virtual offering from Pratt Institute and is free & open to all.
New York Foundation for the Arts is presenting a virtual workshop for immigrant artists living in NY and NJ to address the health care options for different artists situations including affordability, quality and immigration status. This workshop will be led by Renata Marinaro next week and has a flexible cost.

Music to Life is seeking skilled creative entrepreneurship instructors and talented musicians with ideas ideas for making sustainable change in their communities for their online Musician Changemaker Accelerator Academy. This will be 8 weeks beginning in February 2023. There are positions for instructors and musicians.

Falling under the Craft Research Fund, the Artist Fellowship is sponsored by the Center for Craft that awards five mid-career artists support for research projects that advance, expand, and support the creation of new research and knowledge through craft practice.

Grant Amount: $10,000
New England Foundation for the Arts is taking applications for public art in Massachusetts. This opportunity is open to community-based anchor organizations in Massachusetts or artists based in Massachusetts. Priority is given to applicants that art led or co-led by BIPOC artists, rooted in community, and that disrupt harmful narratives.
Application Deadline: October 17, 2022
Award Amount: $15,000 - $30,000 (over two years)
This one month residency sponsored by Gail Schneider, in memory of her mother Ora Schneider, is for applicants residing in New York's Greene, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange counties. This opportunity is open to two artists that have experience with etching, monoprint, letterpress, papermaking, screenprinting, photography, and/or ceramics.
