Save the Date: Soft Skills Development Tips for Employers and Employment Service Providers

men-convo.jpg Employers who completed our Hiring Learning Survey last year were in agreement as to the top three competencies that they are looking for in their current and future employees. Soft skills, such as work ethic, dedication, dependability, communication, and self-motivation took the lead over the need for specific technical skills.

In the light of this information one of WPH's current projects is a soft skill research project. J.P. Hatala, Ph.D, of Flowwork International will be presenting a report called Soft Skills Development: Improving Organizational Effectiveness, on November 24, 2015 at the Workers Arts & Heritage Centre from 12 noon to 3 pm.

Employment services providers and employers are invited to attend.
