Greetings Friends and Neighbors,

I hope this message finds you well and thriving. I am reaching out to address some misinformation that has been circulating regarding the development and use of properties along the Roosevelt Road Corridor. It's important that we approach such topics with accurate information to make well-informed decisions about the growth and development of our beloved community.

Recently, our Economic Development Director, Commissioner David Upshaw, shared a detailed video presentation that clears up many misconceptions and provides a transparent overview of our plans and initiatives along the Roosevelt Road Corridor. If you haven't had a chance to view this important video, I highly encourage you to do so. It is available on our village website and our social media channels Click on the Rep'd, Inc. link to watch the video (Rep'd, Inc.).

In the video, Commissioner Upshaw explains the current zoning regulations, the status of ongoing projects, and the strategic vision aimed at enhancing economic opportunities while preserving the unique character of Broadview. Our goal is to foster an environment that supports business growth and meets the needs of our residents.

Misinformation can create unnecessary confusion and hinder our community's progress. Therefore, it's crucial that we rely on verified sources and engage in open dialogues to discuss any concerns or suggestions you may have. Your input is invaluable as we continue to work together to shape the future of Broadview.

Please feel free to reach out to any of our leaders.

Let's stay informed, involved, and united in our efforts to ensure Broadview continues to thrive.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and for your continued support and engagement in our community's development.

Love and Kindness,

Mayor Katrina Thompson

Just because your dog is friendly doesn't mean other dogs are. Some may be nervous, reactive, fearful, or in training. Please be respectful of others as your walk your pet.
