LINK Newsletter Fall 2023

Dear Colleagues,

The Faculty Diversity Collaborative (FDC) supports the retention and success of our faculty at Rutgers through various initiatives and programs. This Fall, we look ahead with a renewed commitment and excitement for the year. Following a Call for Applications, our three cohort programs continue to grow and this year will support nearly 150 faculty from across all four chancellor-led units. We will also be launching the next round of the Mutual Mentoring Grant Program in January 2024.

The FDC remains committed to your success here at Rutgers and we welcome your participation in our upcoming workshops and much more still to come. To stay informed, subscribe to our mailing list and join our newly launched FDC Peer Network to stay connected and get involved.

Thank you again for your interest and we look forward to continuing to support you. Please reach out to us (facultydiversitycollaborative@oq.rutgers.edu) with any questions.

Sincerely,

The Faculty Diversity Collaborative Team

EARLY CAREER FACULTY PEER MENTORING NETWORK

A Mutual Mentoring Grant Project

On October 11, one of the first Rutgers Mutual Mentoring Team Grant projects was launched when the Early Career Faculty Peer Mentoring Network held its inaugural event at the Rutgers Club. The first event centered on the topic, “establishing your scholarly identity,” where attendees participated in speed-networking over light bites.

This network was established by early career faculty for early career faculty, with monthly sessions centered on building resources and community at Rutgers. The next two sessions will be held November 9 and December 5. Join the network and register for upcoming sessions here.
