How to Determine Heat Pump AHU CFM
We saw a lot of interest in the below email. With that interest came a request to add 15kw to the chart.

This graph can be used to determine the CFM of a heat pump AHU by measuring the temperature rise.
Example: 2 Ton heat pump AHU, 21°F Temp Rise, CFM = 760

Notes:
  • Set thermostat on auxiliary heat (won't let compressor run)
  • Determine heater size. Check EAT & LAT at the unit
  • Keep the thermometer away from the heater, you don't want to sense the radiant heat from heater.
