UCAN 2021 Year End Report
United Chamber Advocacy Network (UCAN) summarizes areas of priority for 2021 with UCAN State Legislative Delegation contacts included.

2021 UCAN Scorecard: Of the 22 bills UCAN actively engaged on, UCAN had a success rate of 57% with 11 UCAN Opposed bills failing passage and three UCAN Support bills signed into law. Only three UCAN bill UCAN Opposed bills were signed into law and five UCAN Support bills failed passage.

Local performance was virtually flat in Q3 2021. While the readings in 3 out of the 4 index components marked positive readings, building permits dragged down the score. Overall, the index increased 0.64% from the previous quarter.

2022 California & Federal Employment Posters
You must post a compliant Employment Poster in a conspicuous place in the workplace where all employees and applicants can see it. The poster also must include information about your workers’ compensation benefits, payday schedule and emergency contacts. You may need to order several to ensure that your business, branches and satellite offices are displaying the poster according to the law. Failure to comply can result in severe penalties and fines by the state of California. If any of your company’s workers are Spanish-speaking, you will need to order the Spanish version.
