"Great video comes from thinking humans, not equipment."
- Writer/Director: Steve Stockman
Optimizing Your Next B2B Video Production
The goal of any marketing video should be to prompt a positive and enthusiastic response from a prospective client or consumer.
The trick(s) to achieving this? It's not about entertainment value, bombast, or bells and whistles, necessarily - though those elements can, and do, have their place.

It is about knowing your audience, knowing your product (or service) intimately, and enlisting the talents of seasoned professionals to help fully realize your vision.

Streaming Video to be Focus of WGA Talks
The 13,000-member Writers Guild of America recently began negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers in regards to a replacement for a 3-year contract that is set to expire on May 1.

Residuals from streaming networks such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon are expected to take center stage.
Film and television production in the era of new media is a hot-button topic throughout our industry, and its digital impact is felt far and wide. In January, the Directors Guild of America established its own contract, in which streaming media played a pivotal role, and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) is set to enter its own discussions this spring.

Tips for Making the 'Gig Economy' Work for You
in 2017

The burgeoning 'gig economy' - characterized by its spike in short term contracts and freelance work - is growing at a rapid rate, which means new and continued challenges are on the horizon for employers in 2017 and beyond.

Regulatory issues ranging from proper classification, to mandated benefits,  to background screenings will become increasingly critical as the nation's contingent workforce continues to evolve.

So what does this mean for your business? If you have questions about the new rules and regs, and where you stand, call the professionals at MMG. We've been doing this for a long time and we can offer answers and solutions regarding your staffing and payroll needs.  202.965.1100
