Come Up and Cool Down...
When temperatures climb, simply head for the hills. One of the most popular destinations is the red rock country of Sedona. The town nestles at 4,500 feet and sits at the mouth of towering Oak Creek Canyon, which climbs to 7,000 in a matter of just a few miles. That makes it for ideal summer days-cool and comfortable in mornings and evenings.
Three hundred miles of hiking and biking trails crisscross the stunning terrain. Jeep tours explore distant corners of the backcountry. Hot air balloons lift off in the early morning, kayak excursions "wet" your appetite and helicopters swoop in and out of canyons. Stargazing tours highlight Sedona's designation as an International Dark Sky Community and reveal secrets of the universe.
Sedona allows us to Reset our Work-Life Balance button. All electronic devices will work just fine in Sedona but don't be surprised when your group forgets to use them. They'll be too busy sharing adventures.
