About Us: TxGCP, MWM-TX, NGCP, UTWEP
Led by the Women in Engineering Program (UTWEP) at The University of Texas at Austin along with a Leadership Team, Regional Leadership Teams across the state, and a Champions Board, the Texas Girls Collaborative Project (TxGCP) brings together advocates and leaders from non-profits, K-12 schools, higher education institutions, companies and organizations across Texas. Million Women Mentors - Texas (MWM-TX) and Texas STEM Connections are initiatives led by TxGCP to connect STEM role models and volunteers with opportunities across Texas.

The vision of the National Girls Collaborative Project (NGCP) is to bring together organizations throughout the US and Puerto Rico that are committed to informing and encouraging girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Currently, 33 Collaboratives, serving 41 states, facilitate collaboration between 22,800 organizations who serve 16.35 million girls and 8.5 million boys. To date, over 37,579 participants have been served in 441 mini-grant projects, and over 28,434 practitioners have been served through in-person events and webinars.
