With Summer comes construction and repairs.

After finishing the repair of the Elm Street bridge, it is now the turn of the Grove Street bridge. It is right next to Joseph's Coat and is close for a few months.

How to get to us this Summer

To access Joseph’s Coat from the 101 traffic light go North on Grove Street, look for the River Walk parking lot, on the right.

Take the pedestrian bridge over the Nubanusit river, to arrive in Depot Square which is behind Joseph's Coat.

Turn left, we are the brick building all the way back.

From the North, on 202, take a right at the library, go over the bridge take a left and the town has many parking spaces on the right and the left. 12 Pine is closed for renovations so you can park around it. Go toward the Post Office we are right across the street, 32 Grove Street.

It is Summer

After the Solstice, Summer is anchored and the days of no jackets are here. Of course around the camp fire at night, it is nice to have a little shawl or when you come out of the Peterborough Players at the intermission, wrapping yourself in a pashmina or light wool or silk is just the thing for insolation.

Local artist Margo Fladung

(pronouced MAR-goh FLA-ding) will be at Joseph's Coat with her artwork: Ink an elephant dung paper; acrylic on mixed medium; framed printed work and cards.

Margo lives in Mont Vernon with her chickens and animals. She has been working on her original art all her life.
