The course is through the neighborhood around the school. You can view the course map here. Although there are road marshals, they can be called away for an emergency so you are expected to know the course. The course and finish line close at 10:15AM. There will be a water stop on the course, but feel free to carry water with you. Use caution on the course as it is winter and may have slippery conditions. We encourage wearing traction.
We will have bottled water for you when you finish. At the finish we will give all finishers their finishers medal as long as they have a bib. You must have a bib visible to get the post race snacks, water, No Bib, No Medal. We do encourage you to stick around after and cheer your fellow athletes. There will be post race snacks in the cafeteria post race. Spectators are welcome to make signs and Athletes feel free to wear your most festive Valentine's gear of reds, pinks and hearts.
Post race check out some of the local restaurants and sights in Irondequoit and get your self a post race breakfast with friends.
We highly encourage visiting Genrich's Garden Center across the street from the school at 375 Cooper Rd. They have great florals & plants, chocolate truffles , Valentine gifts so you can do the race, then get your valentine's gift for others or yourself (Miley does say we can buy ourselves flowers) then go to breakfast in Irondequoit.
Of course NO LITTERING! Please keep everything clean! And stay upright!
