Struggling to Pinpoint That Weird Feeling You're Feeling?

No doubt the past few weeks have generated feelings of unease, stress, worry, and even anxiety. If you're like our family, it's difficult to name the weird feelings we have right now due to the impact COVID-19 has on our lives. I hope you find them helpful too. Grace and Peace, Pastor Sandy Heard

Bible Study Devotional Moment

"For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-control."
                                        - 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear can be a healthy and useful reaction to a dangerous event, but too much fear can cause us to be paralyzed with inaction. We can neglect relationships, even our relationships with God and self. Today, whatever your fear looks like, anxiety, stress, matter the form, know that it is not from God. God hasn't given you fear. God gives us a spirit of power and love and self-control. I hope this verse reminds you to recognize God's empowering Spirit within you to conquer fear, now and always. Amen.
