How to submit your child's vaccination status
In order to plan for the second half of the 2021-22 school year, Barrington 220 is seeking student vaccination information. Providing proof of vaccination is voluntary. However, students who have not provided proof will be considered unvaccinated for contact tracing purposes.

Build 220 monthly update
November was a busy month at Grove, Prairie and Station, as Build 220 construction continued at all three schools! Click the links below to view the November time-lapse videos from each school. Construction at both middle schools is expected to last through November 2022. Construction at Grove Avenue Elementary is expected to last through December 2022.


Preliminary construction is set to begin at Countryside and Roslyn Road Elementary Schools this winter. Most work will be done in the summer months in order to minimize classroom disruption. Project work across all D220 schools is expected to last through 2025.
BHS junior takes 1st place at Harper Art Show
Congratulations to BHS junior Tiya Madhavan, who recently won first place in the 2D Harper Art Show! The annual show is an exhibition of student art work from Districts 211, 214, and Barrington 220. Madhavan's 2D piece titled "Living in Color" was made with colored pencils and acrylic paint. "This painting represents how much value art provides to my life. Art brings color, vibrancy, and exuberance to my day, as shown by the brush painting color over my black-and-white face," Madhavan said.

Volunteer at Barrington Giving Day!
Each December, Barrington Giving Day invites Barrington 220 families in need to a Giving Day event where they receive warm coats, boots, hats, gloves, bedding, books, children’s gifts and more for the holidays. This year over 750 families are invited to the event on Saturday, Dec. 11 at Station Middle School. Click here to sign up for volunteer opportunities.
Save the Date: BCGT January Wisdom Program
The Barrington Council for the Gifted and Talented (BCGT) is holding a January Monthly Wisdom Program, "Epic Mindset Fueled by Emotional Maturity". The discussion will feature Dr. Danielle Black, Director of Child and Adolescent Program at Northwestern University and author Rob Hartnett. It will share ways to grow the emotional maturity required to be successful. The event will take place on January 27 at 7pm. Registration will be made available in January 2022.
