Pastor Trudy's Message
"An Imperfect Ally" by Lisle Gwynn Garrity
A Sanctified Art LLC |
When our plans unravel for those we love
Exodus 1: 22, 2: 1-10   There is a lot missing in this week's story. Moses' mother protects him but, isn't every mother trying to hide her child? Moses' mother puts him in a basket with a hope that somehow he will be saved. How is it possible that this is the only baby in a basket by the river? So many things fall into place to save Moses' life, but it is surrounded by tragedy. This is not an easy story or a happy one, but it will speak to the moments of our lives where we have to hold the moments of beauty and tenderness along with the moments of loss and grief.

God of Life and Hope, help us to hold the tension between our pain and the joy we see all around which is the tension that Jesus lived out in His ministry, to the cross and to the garden. In His name we pray, Amen

Pastor Trudy will never send general emails asking for help or gift cards. The challenge is that they are not hacking her actual email but creating false ones that look real this is called SPOOFING. They use the relationship they know we have from social media to find you. If you have a question about whether or not it is Pastor Trudy, text her or email her on her church email or reach out to another member of the staff to check it out. DO NOT REPLY to these emails.
