Bronson Health Foundation has been recognized with the Award for Excellence in Fundraising by the Association of Fundraising Professionals West Michigan Chapter. The Foundation team accepted the award on National Philanthropy Day during a ceremony held in Grand Rapids on November 17.

Accomplishments that were highlighted and recognized included our regional Cancer Care Campaign, which raised $10.4 million, exceeding our goal by 30 percent; and the launch of our COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund, which brought together more than $2.2 million to assist employees with childcare needs, appreciation meals, respite items and more. It also assisted with facility upgrades, patient support, and medical equipment needed in response to the pandemic.

We are grateful to our supportive board of directors, donors and community partners whose generosity and kindness let us stretch beyond our goals. Together, we truly advance the health of our communities.

We have a final tally from the Carlson Farms - Farm to Table dinner! A record-setting $119,524 was raised at the annual event. This fund will support a new ventilator and software needed to

treat some of the smallest patients in Bronson Children’s Hospital, group dinners for families with babies in the NICU, pediatric exam beds at Bronson LakeView Family Care and more!

Bronson Children's Hospital's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) recently received a generous donation of infant CPR kits. Families leaving the NICU with specific needs are shown how to use these kits. They are able to take the kits home with additional confidence and training to care for their child.

We are grateful to Bill and Barbara Parfet and the American Heart Association - Michigan for this gift to assist our littlest patients and their families during a challenging time.
