“Your gift to the Jewish Federation’s Emergency Campaign for Community Resilience has been enormously helpful during these challenging times.
Thanks to your generosity we were able to upgrade our technological capacities, which was essential in providing families with a way to be in touch with their loved ones during the difficult days of lockdown and the related feelings of isolation and loneliness. The ability to stay connected is a veritable lifeline for our Tamir clients and their families.
We were also able to offer training to families and clients enabling them to use the technology and to continue to participate in online group activities as well as other Jewish community activities.
We also used the funds to acquire additional recreational equipment, so crucial now during times of isolation, and to update appliances for infection control.
We are extremely thankful and want to share with you that these emergency funds were essential in ensuring the physical and emotional wellbeing of our Tamir clients. Our Tamir clients were able to remain healthy and supported as a result of these emergency funds.
