Black Maternal Health Fair
April 11-17 is Black Maternal Health Week, but the Howard County Health Department is celebrating all month long! In partnership with St. John Baptist Church in Columbia, a Black Maternal Health Fair will be held on April 22, 2023 from 10a-12p. The event is FREE!

Prenatal Yoga Class Celebrating Black Mamas
During Black Maternal Health Month, the Howard County Health Department and Sankofa Yoga and Wellness Center will be holding a FREE Prenatal Yoga Class on April 26, 2023 from 6:30-7:30pm. Tickets are limited.

The map was created as part of the Howard County Food Security Committee's goal to increase access to and awareness of culturally appropriate, accessible, affordable, and nutritious food to decrease food and nutrition insecurity among Howard County residents.
