LACASA Center: A New Chapter in Community Support
This summer, LACASA Center celebrated the opening of its new, state-of-the-art facility on Tooley Road in Howell. For over 43 years, LACASA has provided critical support services for victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual violence in Livingston County. The new facility, which includes a 37-bed shelter, counseling rooms, playgrounds, and specialized spaces like Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) rooms, is helping meet the growing need for these services in our community.
While this incredible new space is already making a difference, LACASA is continuing its capital campaign to secure the funding needed to fully realize this project. Community members and businesses are encouraged to learn more about LACASA’s work and explore ways to support its mission.
