Tell us what inspires and drives you in your work or business?
I am inspired by our community members and their families who have trusted us to provide excellent health care services for their loved ones for nearly 100 years. That is a tremendous responsibility and can be challenging at times, but we are honored to earn that trust every day.
What do you love about conducting business in Livingston County?
Over the years, we have become a healing partner that families have come to count on. We are excited to be building a future that will create new opportunities to deliver excellent health care that meets and exceeds the ever-changing needs of our community.
What do you love about being a Chamber member?
As we continue construction of the new hospital, we are thrilled to continue partnering with the Chamber to stay solidly connected to the business community, which has played a strong role in our development. We look forward to continuing this beneficial relationship that will keep powering progress and growth for many years to come.
Who inspires you and why?
Our colleagues, who make our hospital incredible, and our patients, who are the reason everyone here comes to work fired up and ready to make a positive difference every day. The colleagues here are among the most talented, dedicated and compassionate health care professionals I have ever had the privilege to work with. They view their work as a higher calling to serve, and go above and beyond expectations every single day.
Share exciting plans or initiatives for 2024?
Construction of our new four-story, 174,000 square-foot hospital began in April 2023 on the campus of our Trinity Health Medical Center – Brighton, and progress has already been amazing! The new hospital — which will have 56 acuity adaptable beds, 18 existing Short Stay Unit beds, and eight licensed operating rooms — represents a $238.2 million investment in the future of the community that will ensure we improve the health and wellbeing of the people we serve for many years to come. The Forging our Future fundraising campaign, launched this spring, will help ensure that we continue to be a vital and essential health care resource. We look forward to sharing more news about this exciting new chapter as we continue to move forward.
