Adoption Corner!
Timmy came to Pets Alive recently, rescued from the wrath of Hurricane Nate when it hit Louisiana. Every day, Timmy has been spending more and more time with staff. He has been so shy and secretive but now we know that he loves his little chew toys and likes to hide them, he likes belly scratches, and to prance around the adoption office. He's everyone's favorite at Pets Alive. Wouldn't you like to make him your favorite new friend? Timmy is young and is ready for adoption. For inquiries about Timmy, email

Please meet beautiful, 2-3 yrs old, tabby/white Sabrina. She has gorgeous eyes, a sad story, and a sweet, shy personality. Her story began with being pregnant in an awful hoarding situation, going to the NYCACC and then being rescued by FF. At our rescue, all the stress took its toll and Sabrina began to give birth. She took care of her babies and now it's her turn for someone to take care of her. Thanks to wonderful volunteers, she is slowly coming out of her shell, and now loves chin scratches and attention. Let's give Sabrina's story a happy ending!

Our super affectionate lovable Peaches is back up for adoption. Her people really tried to work out differences with their dog & Peaches; ultimately it didn't mesh.
Peaches is super affectionate with people. She's a young dog in need of more training. She's smart, willing to please & very food motivated (for easier training).
We'd love to see Peaches in a home with a yard in which to run and a family willing to help her learn.
Peaches would do best as an only dog with no young children due to size and "enthusiastic" greetings at times. Please meet her.

Gambit is a big chunk of love male Pittie mix. He's under 1 year old. He loves to play, especially with squeaky toys. He already knows his sit and paw commands. Gambit is a big boy and can be on the strong side, so he'd do best with older children. He'd prefer a home without cats.
Gambit is part of our training program and is learning his commands and manners. Come meet him!
