HWA was established to support youth who have the potential to succeed in postsecondary education, but lack the resources and academic support needed to obtain a college degree.
To date, 80% of HWA alumni have enrolled in or graduated from college.
This academic year, 100% of HWA participants graduated from high school and 98% are attending college this fall.
Now in its tenth year, what sets HWA apart from other college access programs is the fundamental Huckleberry value that mental and physical health and wellness are crucial to a young person's success.
HWA students have access to an on-site therapist and a safe, supportive environment where they attend weekly group meetings, are provided with tutoring and academic case management, and receive intensive one-on-one emotional support from HWA staff.
On behalf of our Class of 2018 HWA Graduates, we ask that you help Huckleberry make a difference in the lives of the youth we serve by
donating before June 30th
