Cheney Group Wins The Coveted Chamber Cup
The group of 5 men and 5 women from The Cheney Group outscored all of the 5-Star Corporate Challenge teams on Friday, May 6. The Cheney Group will hold on to the Chamber Cup until this time next year. Rumor has it they are already practicing for next year!

Governmental Affairs Committee Meeting
GAC will meet THIS Friday, May 13 at 10:30 AM. Guest Speaker will be Chad Estis from the Dallas Cowboys discussing economic impact and partnership with the City of Frisco. 

Runoff Elections
Runoff Elections for House District 33 Primary in Collin County will be May 24.  Early voting starts May 16. 

Runoff Election for the Frisco City Council Place 2 & 4, will be June 18.  Early voting dates TBD.
Leadership Frisco Class XX                RESOURCES
The Leadership Frisco Advisory Council is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 year for Leadership Frisco Class 20. Leadership Frisco is a nine-month community leadership program sponsored by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce. The purpose is to develop a pool of qualified, highly motivated individuals who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, deepening their sense of civic responsibility, and becoming more involved in their community as a whole. The Leadership Frisco Class XX Application is due on June 3 by 5:00 PM. 
Register to Vote                                  CONNECTIONS
The American Legion will be registering voters at the Frisco Chamber, THIS Thursday, May 13, during Get on Track Networking from 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM.  Please bring a government issued ID. The  American Legion will also be registering voters at Lone Star High School on May 19
 
The American Legion is also available to do Honor Guards for veteran funerals.  Please contact Larry Marshall.

Toyota Stadium Project 
FC Dallas, U.S. Soccer, Frisco Independent School District and the City of Frisco, broke ground on Thursday, May 5 on a $39 million Toyota Stadium project featuring more than 100,000 square feet of renovated space, new locker rooms, premium seats, a private club and the National Soccer Hall of Fame Museum.  Watch the video.
