Summer Adventure Program
begins July 10!

The Summer Adventure Program offers six weeks of discovery and exploration for children ages 5-11. From tide pools to pond yachts and mermaids to shipwrecks, kids will explore a different theme each week! 

Session 1, Shipwrecks and Lifesavers, July 10-12

Nantasket Beach Lecture Series

The Nantasket Beach Lecture Series is co-presented monthly by the Hull Lifesaving Museum, the Friends of the Hull Public Library, and the Department of Conservation and Recreation in partnership with the Nantasket Beach Resort.

Nantasket Beach Lecture Series proudly welcomes New York Times bestselling author William Martin. Bound for Gold continues William Martin's epic of American history with the further adventures of Boston rare-book dealer Peter Fallon and his girlfriend, Evangeline Carrington. They are headed to California, where their search for a lost journal takes them into the history of Gold Rush.  A perfect summer read for history buffs and museum lovers!

Our co-ed program is for students in middle and high school.  No experience is needed; only enthusiasm and a sense of adventure.  Crews will row in traditional open water gigs with four or six rowers.  Each boat will be led by an experienced HLM coxswain who provides instruction and is responsible for the safety of the boat.
Every session will include education on the harbor, the weather, the boats, and rowing.  On the occasion that weather does not permit us going out we will have activities planned for indoors.
