Below you will find information from the Human Resources Department that will be helpful to you throughout the school year. Please keep this information for your future reference.
Pay Period Information
Payroll is distributed on the 25th of each month. If the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday, payday will be the last workday prior to the 25th.
As a reminder, we no longer distribute direct deposit pay stubs. You can obtain your pay information by logging into the HR portal. If you have questions, please contact the HR department and they will assist you!
We want to call attention to BOE policy E-110-E which indicates that upon leaving the district, accumulated sick and personal leave will be paid provided a letter of resignation is submitted to the superintendent no later than June 1 of the current contractual year.
In addition, employees who leave the district will be issued final pay in June and insurance coverage will end June 30 of the current contractual year.
Open Enrollment Dates
Dental and vision insurance open enrollment is typically in May with a July 1st effective date.
Health insurance open enrollment is typically in May with an effective date of July 1st.
American Fidelity open enrollment for the cafeteria plan and ancillary products is in September with an effective date of January 1st.
Specific information regarding each of these open enrollment periods will be distributed to all staff via the Staff Communicator (which will also be posted in each building/facility) as the time approaches.
Name Changes will need to be made through Human Resources. A marriage certificate, drivers license and social security card with the new name must be brought in to Central Office for the name change to occur.
AFFORDABLE CARE ACT:
The Affordable Care Act and subsequent federal regulations require group health plans and health insurance issuers to create and distribute a Summary of Benefits and Coverage ("SBC") document to all plan participants and beneficiaries. As a reminder, our health insurance provider is Anthem BlueCross BlueShield along with MaxorPlus providing pharmacy coverage.
