Humane Society of Huron Valley Shelter Award

Last Saturday, several MPFA board members  attended   Humane Society of Huron Valley's annual Walk & Wag and Run event to present the award for Outstanding Open Admission Shelter with Best Save Rate, Large Shelter  to HSHV  for their 89% save rate in 2014.

During the presentation, a large white dog named Sophie barked whenever specific accomplishments were mentioned, almost like she was offering her two cents of approval. Included below is a photo of her.

Members of HSHV's Board of Directors accepted the award and thanked staff, volunteers, and community supporters. Congratulations to Humane Society of Huron Valley
