send Emergency Funds to help Ukrainian People
World Central Kitchen (WCK) is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises. When the first attacks began in Ukraine, WCK’s Chef Relief Team mobilized to the frontlines providing meals to children and their families seeking safety in Poland.
Deploying the model of quick action, leveraging local resources and adapting in real time, WCK is able to respond to the urgency of the moment. By partnering with organizations on the ground and activating a network of food trucks or emergency kitchens, WCK provides freshly made, nutritious meals to survivors of disasters quickly and effectively.
In the last few years the Milagro Foundation has funded WCK's relief work responding in 2019 to Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas, the 2019 COVID surge in India, and in 2021 fresh meals for new Afghan refugees coming to the United States and earthquake relief for people in Haiti.
