Happy Thursday morning! How do you like the January thaw? We didn’t have an extensive stretch of cold and snow, but it feels a little like it. Personally, I enjoyed it. There is something about a snappy, crisp morning that I enjoy. Monday morning was a lovely 8 degrees, and before dawn, little crystals were floating through the air, sparkling in the beam of my light.
Monday was our Contractor Appreciation Day. We enjoyed the day with good speakers, vendors, and contractor friends. Learning takes time, and spending that time with the landscape contractors who could invest with us was great. I was impressed with all the synergy it takes to bring together a beautiful landscape. One that brings us together with nature, family, and friends.
It starts with the nurseryman planting the seed or taking the cutting. Or the folks at the paver plant setting the forms for the concrete pavers. It could be the fellows in the mountains harvesting the rocks, or the man at the sawmill grinding the mulch. We have a dream of how we would like our yard to look. We talk to folks, research, and meet with a landscaper. They hear our desires, bring together all the parts of the project, and create our personal space at home where we enjoy nature, family, and friends.
Synergy is beautiful, and it’s humbling to me that Sunny Meadows is part of that process.
I wish you a blessed day,
