With a no-hitter in her first collegiate game, Allie Roberts '27 was named the Collegiate Conference of the South Softball Pitcher of the Week.
More frequent than the television broadcast showing Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl, B.J. Brown '27 was named Collegiate Conference of the South Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season!
Briana McGruder '25 powered the Huntingdon women's basketball team to a sweep of wins this past week and was recognized as the Collegiate Conference of the South Player of the Week.
In one of the great single-game performances of all-time, Nathan Johns '25 dropped 35 points on Covenant last Saturday in route to a key conference victory for the Hawks.
Head Softball Coach Casey Chrietzberg '09 notched her 150th win this past weekend. The Hawks are undefeated in 2024. Keep collecting wins, Coach!

ATHLETICS
Beach Volleyball: A quartet of teams are trekking to Montgomery this weekend to play in the Huntingdon Beach Bash Friday and Saturday at the Alice Reynolds Outdoor Volleyball Court at W. James Samford, Jr. Stadium. The Lady Hawks will play TODAY at 8:00 a.m. and again at 3:30 this afternoon. They'll play Saturday afternoon at 1:00 and 3:30.
Baseball: No more sleeps, Left Field Lounge! After the opening dub at Millsaps on Tuesday, the Hawks begin a 15-game homestand this weekend with a trio of games beginning today at Neal Posey Field. The Hawks play MUW TODAY at 4:00, Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday at 4:00, and Emory on Sunday at 4:00. The JV squad will get their first swings of the season on Monday in a double header beginning at 3:00.
Softball: The 2-0 Lady Hawks will look to double their win total on Saturday with a double-header with Centre College. Games will begin at Noon and 2:00 at Lucinda Samford Cannon FIeld.
Women's Basketball: The Lady Hawks carry a five-game winning streak into their final home regular season contest when they'll host LaGrange tomorrow at 2:00 in Catherine Dixon Roland Arena. Be part of a game of Knockout during halftime. Stay tuned for game time, location, and opponent for the first round of the CCS Tournament next week.

Men's and Women's Tennis: The Hawks begin their Spring season on the road Saturday at BSC with matches beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Chaplain Rhett Butler '13 invites you to join him Tuesday night for TNW at 8:30 p.m. in Ligon Chapel. Our weekly Communion service will take place Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the Jean Rodgers Prayer Chapel. Thank you, Rhett, for standing in front of the Chapel for five hours on Ash Wednesday to apply a cross of ashes on the foreheads of dozens of Huntingdon faculty, staff and students.

GREEK PHILANTHROPY EVENT
The men of Sigma Nu are partnering with NMDP, a bone marrow donation program, to allow members of the Huntingdon community to determine if they are a match for a person in need of a transplant. Representatives from NMDP will be on campus Tuesday and Wednesday in the foyer of the dining hall during lunch to discuss their program and online registry.
MISS HUNTINGDON'S EMPOWER WOMEN WEEK
Ariel Dixon '25 is nearing the end of her reign as the 2023 Miss Huntingdon. The 2024 Miss Huntingdon will be crowned on Saturday, March 2. Next week, Ariel will be hosting a series of events as part of her Empower Women Week. All are welcome.

The Tomberlin Fitness Center is open to all students Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wilson Gym is open on Wednesday nights from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for Wednesday Night Hoops.
