Hawk 'Em from Huntingdon Women's Tennis

Dear Supporters of Huntingdon Women’s Tennis:

My name is Kathleen Thompson, and I am the head coach for Huntingdon College’s women’s tennis team. It is an honor and a privilege to be serving our great student-athletes and Huntingdon College in this capacity. Our program had a successful spring season in 2025. We advanced to the semifinals of the CCS Conference Tournament and had two athletes selected to the CCS All-Academic Conference Team. We have four new student-athletes joining our program this year, and we are excited for the 2025-2026 season.

In this position, I take responsibility for maintaining and elevating the standard for women’s tennis moving forward. To do this, we need your help! During the month of September, the women’s tennis team is participating in the “Campaign for Champions”, and we are inviting our alumni, family and fans to join us as we raise money for our tennis program. Any gifts would be for additional enhancements to our program and student wellness. One initiative is working regularly with a sports psychologist. The ladies are really looking forward to that. We can also use any gifts received to pay for additional team activities while on our Spring Break trip this year to Orlando.
