Dear Residents, Property Owners and Friends:
The following CodeRed message was recently sent to all subscribers:
The Village of Bald Head Island is still without power and sewer services. There is no estimated time for power restoration, Duke Energy is still doing assessments and will update the Village as soon as possible. The Coast Guard has approved a ferry run for this afternoon for Emergency Operation Center personnel ONLY - this will consist of Village relief staff and the Village's debris contractor. The decision on when the ferry service will resume, to transport island residents, has not been made. Bald Head Island Marina and Deep Point Marina are still closed.
